4:2 Your teeth are like a newly shorn flock, which have come up from the washing, where every one of them has twins. 4:3 Your lips are like scarlet thread. Your mouth is lovely. 5:5 I rose up to open for my beloved. 5:7 The watchmen who go about the city found me. They beat me. They bruised me. The keepers of the walls took my cloak away from me. 7 The watchmen that went about the city found me, they smote me, they wounded me; the keepers of the walls took away my veil from me. 7 町をまわり歩く夜回りらはわたしを見ると、撃って傷つけ、城壁を守る者らは、わたしの上着をはぎ取った。
5:8 I adjure you, daughters of Jerusalem, If you find my beloved, that you tell him that I am faint with love.Friends 8 I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if ye find my beloved, that ye tell him, that I am sick of love. 8 エルサレムの娘たちよ、わたしはあなたがたに誓って、お願いする。もしわが愛する者を見たなら、わたしが愛のために病みわずらっていると、彼に告げてください。

5:12 His eyes are like doves beside the water brooks, washed with milk, mounted like jewels. 12 His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set. 12 その目は泉のほとりのはとのように、乳で洗われて、良く落ち着いている。
5:13 His cheeks are like a bed of spices with towers of perfumes. His lips are like lilies, dropping liquid myrrh. 13 His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers: his lips like lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh. 13 そのほおは、かんばしい花の床のように、かおりを放ち、そのくちびるは、ゆりの花のようで、没薬の液をしたたらす。
5:14 His hands are like rings of gold set with beryl. His body is like ivory work overlaid with sapphires. 14 His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl: his belly is as bright ivory overlaid with sapphires. 14 その手は宝石をはめた金の円筒のごとく、そのからだはサファイヤをもっておおった象牙の細工のごとく、
5:15 His legs are like pillars of marble set on sockets of fine gold. His appearance is like Lebanon, excellent as the cedars. 15 His legs are as pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: his countenance is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars. 15 その足のすねは金の台の上にすえた大理石の柱のごとく、その姿はレバノンのごとく、香柏のようで、美しい。
5:16 His mouth is sweetness yes, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, daughters of Jerusalem. 16 His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. 6:2 My beloved has gone down to his garden, to the beds of spices, to feed in the gardens, and to gather lilies. 2 My beloved is gone down into his garden, to the beds of spices, to feed in the gardens, and to gather lilies. 2 わが愛する者は園の中で、群れを飼い、またゆりの花を取るために自分の園に下り、かんばしい花の床へ行きました。

Your hair is like a flock of goats, that lie along the side of Gilead. 5 Turn away thine eyes from me, for they have overcome me: thy hair is as a flock of goats that appear from Gilead. 5 あなたの目はわたしを恐れさせるゆえ、わたしからそむけてください。あなたの髪はギレアデの山を下るやぎの群れのようだ。
6:6 Your teeth are like a flock of ewes, which have come up from the washing of which every one has twins none is bereaved among them. 6 Thy teeth are as a flock of sheep which go up from the washing, whereof every one beareth twins, and there is not one barren among them. 6 あなたの歯は洗い場から上ってきた雌羊の群れのようだ。みな二子を産んで、一匹も子のないものはない。
6:7 Your temples are like a piece of a pomegranate behind your veil. 7 As a piece of a pomegranate are thy temples within thy locks. 7 あなたのほおは顔おおいのうしろにあって、ざくろの片われのようだ。
6:8 There are sixty queens, eighty concubines, and virgins without number. 8 There are threescore queens, and fourscore concubines, and virgins without number. 8 王妃は六十人、そばめは八十人、また数しれぬおとめがいる。
6:9 My dove, my perfect one, is unique. She is her mother's only daughter. She is the favorite one of her who bore her. The daughters saw her, and called her blessed the queens and the concubines, and they praised her. 9 My dove, my undefiled is but one; she is the only one of her mother, she is the choice one of her that bare her. The daughters saw her, and blessed her; yea, the queens and the concubines, and they praised her. 9 わがはと、わが全き者はただひとり、彼女は母のひとり子、彼女を産んだ者の最愛の者だ。おとめたちは彼女を見て、さいわいな者ととなえ、王妃たち、そばめたちもまた、彼女を見て、ほめた。
6:10 Who is she who looks forth as the morning, beautiful as the moon, clear as the sun, and awesome as an army with banners? 10 Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners? 10 「このしののめのように見え、月のように美しく、太陽のように輝き、恐るべき事、旗を立てた軍勢のような者はだれか」。
6:11 I went down into the nut tree grove, to see the green plants of the valley, to see whether the vine budded, and the pomegranates were in flower. 11 I went down into the garden of nuts to see the fruits of the valley, and to see whether the vine flourished and the pomegranates budded. 11 わたしは谷の花を見、ぶどうが芽ざしたか、ざくろの花が咲いたかを見ようと、くるみの園へ下っていった。
6:12 Without realizing it, my desire set me with my royal people's chariots.Friends 12 Or ever I was aware, my soul made me like the chariots of Amminadib. 12 わたしの知らないうちに、わたしの思いは、わたしを車の中のわが君のかたわらにおらせた。
6:13 Return, return, Shulammite! Return, return, that we may gaze at you. LoverWhy do you desire to gaze at the Shulammite, as at the dance of Mahanaim? 13 Return, return, O Shulamite; return, return, that we may look upon thee. What will ye see in the Shulamite? 7:1 Your rounded thighs are like jewels, the work of the hands of a skillful workman. 1 How beautiful are thy feet with shoes, O prince's daughter! the joints of thy thighs are like jewels, the work of the hands of a cunning workman. 1 女王のような娘よ、あなたの足は、くつの中にあって、なんと麗しいことであろう。あなたのももは、まろやかで、玉のごとく、名人の手のわざのようだ。
7:2 Your body is like a round goblet, no mixed wine is wanting.Your waist is like a heap of wheat, set about with lilies. 2 Thy navel is like a round goblet, which wanteth not liquor: thy belly is like an heap of wheat set about with lilies. 2 あなたのほぞは、混ぜたぶどう酒を欠くことのない丸い杯のごとく、あなたの腹は、ゆりの花で囲まれた山盛りの麦のようだ。
7:3 Your two breasts are like two fawns, that are twins of a roe. 3 Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins. 3 あなたの両乳ぶさは、かもしかの二子である二匹の子じかのようだ。
7:4 Your neck is like an ivory tower. Your eyes are like the pools in Heshbon by the gate of Bathrabbim. Your nose is like the tower of Lebanon which looks toward Damascus. 4 Thy neck is as a tower of ivory; thine eyes like the fishpools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bathrabbim: thy nose is as the tower of Lebanon which looketh toward Damascus. 4 あなたの首は象牙のやぐらのごとく、あなたの目は、バテラビムの門のほとりにあるヘシボンの池のごとく、あなたの鼻は、ダマスコを見おろすレバノンのやぐらのようだ。
7:5 Your head on you is like Carmel. The hair of your head like purple. The king is held captive in its tresses. 5 Thine head upon thee is like Carmel, and the hair of thine head like purple; the king is held in the galleries. 5 あなたの頭は、カルメルのようにあなたを飾り、髪の毛は紫色のようで、王はそのたれ髪に捕われた。
7:6 How beautiful and how pleasant you are, love, for delights! 6 How fair and how pleasant art thou, O love, for delights! 6 愛する者よ、快活なおとめよ、あなたはなんと美しく愛すべき者であろう。
7:7 This, your stature, is like a palm tree, your breasts like its fruit. 7 This thy stature is like to a palm tree, and thy breasts to clusters of grapes. 7 あなたはなつめやしの木のように威厳があり、あなたの乳ぶさはそのふさのようだ。
7:8 I said, “I will climb up into the palm tree. I will take hold of its fruit.”Let your breasts be like clusters of the vine, the smell of your breath like apples,Beloved 8 I said, I will go up to the palm tree, I will take hold of the boughs thereof: now also thy breasts shall be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of thy nose like apples; 8 わたしは言う、「このなつめやしの木にのぼり、その枝に取りつこう。どうか、あなたの乳ぶさが、ぶどうのふさのごとく、あなたの息のにおいがりんごのごとく、
7:9 Your mouth like the best wine, that goes down smoothly for my beloved, gliding through the lips of those who are asleep. 9 And the roof of thy mouth like the best wine for my beloved, that goeth down sweetly, causing the lips of those that are asleep to speak. 9 あなたの口づけが、なめらかに流れ下る良きぶどう酒のごとく、くちびると歯の上をすべるように」と。
7:10 I am my beloved's. His desire is toward me. 10 I am my beloved's, and his desire is toward me. 10 わたしはわが愛する人のもの、彼はわたしを恋い慕う。
7:11 Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field. Let us lodge in the villages. 11 Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages. 11 わが愛する者よ、さあ、わたしたちはいなかへ出ていって、村里に宿りましょう。
7:12 Let's go early up to the vineyards. Let's see whether the vine has budded, its blossom is open, and the pomegranates are in flower. There I will give you my love. 12 Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves. 12 わたしたちは早く起き、ぶどう園へ行って、ぶどうの木が芽ざしたか、ぶどうの花が咲いたか、ざくろが花咲いたかを見ましょう。その所で、わたしはわが愛をあなたに与えます。
7:13 The mandrakes give forth fragrance. At our doors are all kinds of precious fruits, new and old, which I have stored up for you, my beloved. 13 The mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits, new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved. 13 恋なすは、かおりを放ち、もろもろの良きくだものは、新しいのも古いのも共にわたしたちの戸の上にある。わが愛する者よ、わたしはこれをあなたのためにたくわえました。

8:1 If only you were to me like a brother, who was nursed at my mother's breasts! If I found you outside, I would kiss you yes, and no one would despise me. 1 O that thou wert as my brother, that sucked the breasts of my mother! when I should find thee without, I would kiss thee; yea, I should not be despised. 1 どうか、あなたは、わが母の乳ぶさを吸ったわが兄弟のようになってください。わたしがそとであなたに会うとき、あなたに口づけしても、だれもわたしをいやしめないでしょう。
8:2 I would lead you, bringing you into my mother's house, who would instruct me. I would have you drink spiced wine, of the juice of my pomegranate. 2 I would lead thee, and bring thee into my mother's house, who would instruct me: I would cause thee to drink of spiced wine of the juice of my pomegranate. 2 わたしはあなたを導いて、わが母の家に行き、わたしを産んだ者のへやにはいり、香料のはいったぶどう酒、ざくろの液を、あなたに飲ませましょう。
8:3 His left hand would be under my head. His right hand would embrace me. 3 His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me. 3 どうか、彼の左の手がわたしの頭の下にあり、右の手がわたしを抱いてくれるように。
8:4 I adjure you, daughters of Jerusalem, that you not stir up, nor awaken love, until it so desires. Friends 4 I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, until he please. 4 エルサレムの娘たちよ、わたしはあなたがたに誓い、お願いする、愛のおのずから起るときまでは、ことさらに呼び起すことも、さますこともしないように。
8:5 Who is this who comes up from the wilderness, leaning on her beloved? Under the apple tree I aroused you. There your mother conceived you. There she was in labor and bore you. 5 Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? I raised thee up under the apple tree: there thy mother brought thee forth: there she brought thee forth that bare thee. 5 自分の愛する者によりかかって、荒野から上って来る者はだれですか。りんごの木の下で、わたしはあなたを呼びさました。あなたの母上は、かしこで、あなたのために産みの苦しみをなし、あなたの産んだ者が、かしこで産みの苦しみをした。
8:6 Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm for love is strong as death. Jealousy is as cruel as Sheol. Its flashes are flashes of fire, a very flame of Yahweh. 6 Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame. 6 わたしをあなたの心に置いて印のようにし、あなたの腕に置いて印のようにしてください。愛は死のように強く、ねたみは墓のように残酷だからです。そのきらめきは火のきらめき、最もはげしい炎です。
8:7 Many waters can't quench love, neither can floods drown it. If a man would give all the wealth of his house for love, he would be utterly scorned. Friends 7 Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned. 7 愛は大水も消すことができない、洪水もおぼれさせることができない。もし人がその家の財産をことごとく与えて、愛に換えようとするならば、いたくいやしめられるでしょう。
8:8 We have a little sister. She has no breasts.What shall we do for our sister in the day when she is to be spoken for? 8 We have a little sister, and she hath no breasts: what shall we do for our sister in the day when she shall be spoken for? 8 わたしたちに小さい妹がある、まだ乳ぶさがない。わたしたちの妹に縁談のある日には、彼女のために何をしてやろうか。
8:9 If she is a wall, we will build on her a turret of silver.if she is a door, we will enclose her with boards of cedar.Beloved 9 If she be a wall, we will build upon her a palace of silver: and if she be a door, we will inclose her with boards of cedar. 9 彼女が城壁であるなら、その上に銀の塔を建てよう。彼女が戸であるなら、香柏の板でそれを囲もう。
8:10 I am a wall, and my breasts like towers, then I was in his eyes like one who found peace. 10 I am a wall, and my breasts like towers: then was I in his eyes as one that found favour. 10 わたしは城壁、わたしの乳ぶさは、やぐらのようでありました。それでわたしは彼の目には、平和をもたらす者のようでありました。
8:11 Solomon had a vineyard at Baal Hamon. He leased out the vineyard to keepers. Each was to bring a thousand shekels of silver for its fruit. 11 Solomon had a vineyard at Baalhamon; he let out the vineyard unto keepers; every one for the fruit thereof was to bring a thousand pieces of silver. 11 ソロモンはバアルハモンにぶどう園をもっていた。彼はぶどう園を、守る者どもにあずけて、おのおのその実のために銀一千を納めさせた。
8:12 My own vineyard is before me. The thousand are for you, Solomon two hundred for those who tend its fruit. Lover 12 My vineyard, which is mine, is before me: thou, O Solomon, must have a thousand, and those that keep the fruit thereof two hundred. 12 わたしのものであるぶどう園は、わたしの前にある。ソロモンよ、あなたは一千を獲るでしょう、その実を守る者どもは二百を獲るでしょう。
8:13 You who dwell in the gardens, with friends in attendance, let me hear your voice! Beloved 13 Thou that dwellest in the gardens, the companions hearken to thy voice: cause me to hear it. 13 園の中に住む者よ、わたしの友だちはあなたの声に耳を傾けます、どうぞ、それをわたしに聞かせてください。
8:14 Come away, my beloved! Be like a gazelle or a young stag on the mountains of spices! 14 Make haste, my beloved, and be thou like to a roe or to a young hart upon the mountains of spices. 14 わが愛する者よ、急いでください。かんばしい山々の上で、かもしかのように、また若い雄じかのようになってください。
