| 1 Écris à l’ange de l’Église d’Éphèse : Voici ce que dit Celui qui tient les sept étoiles dans sa main droite, Celui qui marche au milieu des sept chandeliers d’or : | 1 "To the angel of the assembly in Ephesus write: "He who holds the seven stars in his right hand, he who walks among the seven golden lampstands says these things: | 1 Dem Engel der Gemeinde zu Ephesus schreibe : Das sagt, der da hält die sieben Sterne in seiner Rechten, der da wandelt mitten unter den sieben goldenen Leuchtern : |
| 2 Je connais tes œuvres, ton labeur et ta patience ; je sais que tu ne peux supporter les méchants ; que tu as éprouvé ceux qui se disent apôtres et ne le sont pas, et que tu les as trouvés menteurs ; | 2 "I know your works, and your toil and perseverance, and that you can't tolerate evil men, and have tested those who call themselves apostles, and they are not, and found them false. | 2 Ich weiß deine Werke und deine Arbeit und deine Geduld und daß du die Bösen nicht tragen kannst ; und hast versucht die, so da sagen, sie seien Apostel, und sind’s nicht, und hast sie als Lügner erfunden ; |
| 3 que tu as de la patience, que tu as eu à supporter pour mon nom, et que tu ne t’es point lassé. | 3 You have perseverance and have endured for my name's sake, and have not grown weary. | 3 und verträgst und hast Geduld, und um meines Namens willen arbeitest du und bist nicht müde geworden. |

| 5 Souviens-toi donc d’où tu es tombé, repens-toi et reviens à tes premières œuvres ; sinon, je viendrai à toi, et j’ôterai ton chandelier de sa place, à moins que tu ne te repentes. | 5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the first works; or else I am coming to you swiftly, and will move your lampstand out of its place, unless you repent. | 5 Gedenke, wovon du gefallen bist, und tue Buße und tue die ersten Werke. A celui qui vaincra, je lui donnerai à manger de l’arbre de vie, qui est dans le paradis de [mon] Dieu. | 7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of my God. | 7 Wer Ohren hat, der höre, was der Geist den Gemeinden sagt : Wer überwindet, dem will ich zu essen geben vom Holz des Lebens, das im Paradies Gottes ist. |

| 9 Je connais ta tribulation et ta pauvreté, — mais tu es riche, — et les insultes de ceux qui se disent Juifs et ne le sont pas, mais bien une synagogue de Satan. | 9 "I know your works, oppression, and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. | 9 Ich weiß deine Werke und deine Trübsal und deine Armut (du bist aber reich) und die Lästerung von denen, die da sagen, sie seien Juden, und sind’s nicht, sondern sind des Satans Schule. |
| 10 Ne crains rien de ce que tu auras à souffrir. Voici que le diable va jeter quelques-uns de vous en prison, afin que vous soyez mis à l’épreuve, et vous aurez une tribulation de dix jours. Sois fidèle jusqu’à la mort et je te donnerai la couronne de la vie. | 10 Don't be afraid of the things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you will have oppression for ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life. | 10 Fürchte dich vor der keinem, das du leiden wirst ! Siehe, der Teufel wird etliche von euch ins Gefängnis werfen, auf daß ihr versucht werdet, und werdet Trübsal haben zehn Tage. | 11 Que celui qui a des oreilles entende ce que l’Esprit dit aux Églises ! Celui qui vaincra ne recevra aucun dommage de la seconde mort. | 11 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. He who overcomes won't be harmed by the second death. | 11 Wer Ohren hat, der höre, was der Geist den Gemeinden sagt : Wer überwindet, dem soll kein Leid geschehen von dem andern Tode. |
| 12 Écris encore à l’ange de l’Église de Pergame : Voici ce que dit Celui qui a le glaive aigu à deux tranchants : | 12 "To the angel of the assembly in Pergamum write: "He who has the sharp two-edged sword says these things: | 12 Und dem Engel der Gemeinde zu Pergamus schreibe : Das sagt, der : da hat das scharfe, zweischneidige Schwert |
| 13 Je sais où tu habites : là où se trouve le trône de Satan ; mais tu es fermement attaché à mon nom, et tu n’as point renié ma foi, même en ces jours où Antipas, mon témoin fidèle, a été mis à mort chez vous, où Satan habite. | 13 "I know your works and where you dwell, where Satan's throne is. You hold firmly to my name, and didn't deny my faith in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. | 13 Ich weiß, was du tust und wo du wohnst, da des Satans Stuhl ist ; und hältst an meinem Namen und hast meinen Glauben nicht verleugnet auch in den Tagen, in welchen Antipas, mein treuer Zeuge, bei euch getötet ist, da der Satan wohnt. |
| 14 Mais j’ai contre toi quelques griefs ; c’est que tu as là des gens attachés à la doctrine de Balaam, qui conseillait à Balac de mettre devant les fils d’Israël une pierre d’achoppement, pour les amener à manger des viandes immolées aux idoles et à se livrer à l’impudicité. | 14 But I have a few things against you, because you have there some who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to throw a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. | 14 Aber ich habe ein Kleines wider dich, daß du daselbst hast, die an der Lehre Bileams halten, welcher lehrte den Balak ein Ärgernis aufrichten vor den Kindern Israel, zu essen Götzenopfer und Hurerei zu treiben. |
| 15 De même toi aussi, tu as des gens attachés pareillement à la doctrine des Nicolaïtes. | 15 So you also have some who hold to the teaching of theNicolaitans likewise . | 15 Also hast du auch, die an der Lehre der Nikolaiten halten : das hasse ich. |
| 16 Repens-toi ! sinon, je viendrai à toi promptement, et je leur ferai la guerre avec le glaive de ma bouche. | 16 Repent therefore, or else I am coming to you quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of my mouth. | 16 Tue Buße ; wo aber nicht, so werde ich dir bald kommen und mit ihnen kriegen durch das Schwert meines Mundes. |
| 17 Que celui qui a des oreilles entende ce que dit l’Esprit aux Églises ! A celui qui vaincra, je donnerai de la manne cachée ; et je lui donnerai une pierre blanche, et sur cette pierre est écrit un nom nouveau, que personne ne connaît, si ce n’est celui qui le reçoit. | 17 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes, to him I will give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows but he who receives it. | 17 Wer Ohren hat, der höre, was der Geist den Gemeinden sagt : Wer überwindet, dem will zu essen geben von dem verborgenen Manna und will ihm geben einen weißen Stein und auf den Stein einen neuen Namen geschrieben, welchen niemand kennt, denn der ihn empfängt. |
| 18 Écris encore à l’ange de l’Église de Thyatire : Voici ce que dit le Fils de Dieu, Celui qui a les yeux comme une flamme de feu, et dont les pieds sont semblables à l’airain : | 18 "To the angel of the assembly in Thyatira write: "The Son of God, who has his eyes like a flame of fire, and his feet are like burnished brass, says these things: | 18 Und dem Engel der Gemeinde zu Thyatira schreibe : Das sagt der Sohn Gottes, der Augen hat wie Feuerflammen, und seine Füße sind gleichwie Messing : |
| 19 Je connais tes œuvres, ton amour, ta foi, ta bienfaisance, ta patience et tes dernières œuvres plus nombreuses que les premières. | 19 "I know your works, your love, faith, service, patient endurance, and that your last works are more than the first. | 19 Ich weiß deine Werke und deine Liebe und deinen Dienst und deinen Glauben und deine Geduld und daß du je länger, je mehr tust. |
| 20 Mais j’ai contre toi quelques griefs : c’est que tu laisses la femme Jézabel, se disant prophétesse, enseigner et séduire mes serviteurs, pour qu’ils se livrent à l’impudicité et mangent des viandes immolées aux idoles. | 20 But I have this against you, that you tolerateyour woman, Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. She teaches and seduces my servants to commit sexual immorality, and to eat things sacrificed to idols. | 20 Aber ich habe wider dich, daß du lässest das Weib Isebel, die da spricht, sie sei eine Prophetin, lehren und verführen meine Knechte, Hurerei zu treiben und Götzenopfer zu essen. |
| 21 Je lui ai donné du temps pour faire pénitence, et elle ne veut pas se repentir de son impudicité. | 21 I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality. | 21 Und ich habe ihr Zeit gegeben, daß sie sollte Buße tun für ihre Hurerei ; und sie tut nicht Buße. |
| 22 Voici que je vais la jeter sur un lit, et plonger dans une grande tristesse ses compagnons d’adultère, s’ils ne se repentent des œuvres qu’elle leur a enseignées. | 22 Behold, I will throw her into a bed, and those who commit adultery with her into great oppression, unless they repent of her works. | 22 Siehe, ich werfe sie in ein Bett, und die mit ihr die Ehe gebrochen haben, in große Trübsal, wo sie nicht Buße tun für ihre Werke, |
| 23 Je frapperai de mort ses enfants, et toutes les Églises connaîtront que je suis celui qui sonde les reins et les cœurs ; et je rendrai à chacun de vous selon vos œuvres. | 23 I will kill her children with Death, and all the assemblies will know that I am he who searches the minds and hearts. I will give to each one of you according to your deeds. | 23 und ihre Kinder will ich zu Tode schlagen. Und alle Gemeinden sollen erkennen, daß ich es bin, der die Nieren und Herzen erforscht ; und ich werde geben einem jeglichen unter euch nach euren Werken. |
| 24 Mais à vous, aux autres fidèles de Thyatire, qui ne reçoivent pas cette doctrine, qui n’ont pas connu les profondeurs de Satan (comme ils les appellent), je vous dis : Je ne vous imposerai pas d’autre fardeau ; | 24 But to you I say, to the rest who are in Thyatira, as many as don't have this teaching, who don't know what some call 'the deep things of Satan,' to you I say, I am not putting any other burden on you. | 24 Euch aber sage ich, den andern, die zu Thyatira sind, die nicht haben solche Lehre und die nicht erkannt haben die Tiefen des Satans (wie sie sagen) : Ich will nicht auf euch werfen eine andere : Last |

| 26 Et à celui qui vaincra et qui gardera jusqu’à la fin mes œuvres, je lui donnerai pouvoir sur les nations ; | 26 He who overcomes, and he who keeps my works to the end, to him I will give authority over the nations. | 26 Und wer da überwindet und hält meine Werke bis ans Ende, dem will ich Macht geben über die Heiden, |
| 27 il les gouvernera avec un sceptre de fer, ainsi que l’on brise les vases d’argile, | 27 He will rule them with a rod of iron, shattering them like clay pots; as I also have received of my Father: | 27 und er soll sie weiden mit einem eisernen Stabe, und wie eines Töpfers Gefäße soll er sie zerschmeißen, |

| 1 Écris encore à l’ange de l’Église de Sardes : Voici ce que dit Celui qui a les sept Esprits de Dieu et les sept étoiles : Je connais tes œuvres : tu as la réputation d’être vivant, mais tu es mort. | 1 "And to the angel of the assembly in Sardis write: "He who has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars says these things: "I know your works, that you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. | 1 Und dem Engel der Gemeinde zu Sardes schreibe : Das sagt, der die sieben Geister Gottes hat und die sieben Sterne : Ich weiß deine Werke ; denn du hast den Namen, daß du lebest, und bist tot. |
| 2 Sois vigilant, et affermis le reste qui allait mourir ; car je n’ai pas trouvé tes œuvres parfaites devant mon Dieu. | 2 Wake up, and keep the things that remain, which you were about to throw away, for I have found no works of yours perfected before my God. | 2 Werde wach und stärke das andere, das sterben will ; denn ich habe deine Werke nicht völlig erfunden vor Gott. |

| 11 Alors on leur donna à chacun une robe blanche, et on leur dit de se tenir en repos encore un peu de temps, jusqu’à ce que fût complet le nombre de leurs compagnons de service et de leurs frères qui devaient être mis à mort comme eux. | 11 A long white robe was given to each of them. They were told that they should rest yet for a while, until their fellow servants and their brothers, who would also be killed even as they were, should complete their course. | 11 Und ihnen wurde gegeben einem jeglichen ein weißes Kleid, und ward zu ihnen gesagt, daß sie ruhten noch eine kleine Zeit, bis daß vollends dazukämen ihre Mitknechte und Brüder, die auch sollten noch getötet werden gleich wie sie. |

| 3 Puis il vint un autre ange, et il se tint près de l’autel, un encensoir d’or à la main ; on lui donna beaucoup de parfums pour qu’il fit une offrande des prières de tous les saints, sur l’autel d’or qui est devant le trône ; | 3 Another angel came and stood over the altar, having a golden censer. One third of the waters became wormwood. Many people died from the waters, because they were made bitter. | 11 Und der Name des Sterns heißt Wermut. | 4 et on leur ordonna de ne point nuire à l’herbe de la terre, ni à aucune verdure, ni à aucun arbre, mais seulement aux hommes qui n’ont pas le sceau de Dieu sur leur front. | 4 They were told that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those people who don't have God's seal on their foreheads. | 4 Und es ward ihnen gesagt, daß sie nicht beschädigten das Gras auf Erden noch ein Grünes noch einen Baum, sondern allein die Menschen, die nicht haben das Siegel Gottes an ihren Stirnen. |
| 5 Il leur fût donné, non de les tuer, mais de les tourmenter pendant cinq mois ; et le tourment qu’elles causent est semblable à celui d’un homme piqué par le scorpion. | 5 They were given power not to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion, when it strikes a person. | 5 Und es ward ihnen gegeben, daß sie sie nicht töteten, sondern sie quälten fünf Monate lang ; und ihre Qual war wie eine Qual vom Skorpion, wenn er einen Menschen schlägt. |

| 10 Et les habitants de la terre se réjouiront à leur sujet ; ils se livreront à l’allégresse et s’enverront des présents les uns aux autres, parce que ces deux prophètes ont fait le tourment des habitants de la terre. | 10 Those who dwell on the earth rejoice over them, and they will be glad. | 11 Mais après trois jours et demi, un esprit de vie venant de Dieu pénétra dans ces cadavres ; ils se dressèrent sur leurs pieds, et une grande crainte s’empara de ceux qui les regardaient. | 11 After the three and a half days, the breath of life from God entered into them, and they stood on their feet. | 16 Mais la terre vint au secours de la femme ; elle ouvrit son sein et engloutit le fleuve que le dragon avait jeté de sa gueule. | 16 The earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon spewed out of his mouth. | 16 Aber die Erde half dem Weibe und tat ihren Mund auf und verschlang den Strom, den der Drache aus seinem Munde schoß. |

| 2 La bête que je vis ressemblait à un léopard ; ses pieds étaient comme ceux d’un ours, et sa gueule comme une gueule de lion. Le dragon lui donna sa puissance, son trône et une grande autorité. | 2 The beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. Authority to make war for forty-two months was given to him. | 5 Und es ward ihm gegeben ein Mund, zu reden große Dinge und Lästerungen, und ward ihm gegeben, daß es mit ihm währte zweiundvierzig Monate lang. |

| 7 Et il lui fut donné de faire la guerre aux saints et de les vaincre ; et il lui fût donné autorité sur toute tribu, tout peuple, toute langue et toute nation. | 7 It was given to him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them. Authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation was given to him. | 7 Und ward ihm gegeben, zu streiten mit den Heiligen und sie zu überwinden ; und ward ihm gegeben Macht über alle Geschlechter und Sprachen und Heiden. |
| 8 Et tous les habitants de la terre l’adoreront, ceux dont le nom n’a pas été écrit dans le livre de vie de l’Agneau immolé, dès la fondation du monde. | 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been killed. | 8 Und alle, die auf Erden wohnen, beten es an, deren Namen nicht geschrieben sind in dem Lebensbuch des Lammes, das erwürgt ist, von Anfang der Welt. |
| 9 Que celui qui a des oreilles entende ! | 9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear. | 9 Hat jemand Ohren, der höre ! |
| 10 Si quelqu’un mène en captivité, il sera mené en captivité ; si quelqu’un tue par l’épée, il faut qu’il soit tué par l’épée. C’est ici la patience et la foi des saints. | 10 If anyone has captivity, he will go into captivity. If anyone is with the sword, he must be killed. Here is the endurance and the faith of the saints. | 10 So jemand in das Gefängnis führt, der wird in das Gefängnis gehen ; so jemand mit dem Schwert tötet, der muß mit dem Schwert getötet werden. Hier ist Geduld und Glaube der Heiligen. |
| 11 Puis je vis monter de la terre une autre bête, qui avait deux cornes semblables à celles d’un agneau, et qui parlait comme un dragon. | 11 I saw another beast coming up out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke like a dragon. | 11 Und ich sah ein anderes Tier aufsteigen aus der Erde ; das hatte zwei Hörner gleichwie ein Lamm und redete wie ein Drache. |
| 12 Elle exerçait toute la puissance de la première bête en sa présence, et elle amenait la terre et ses habitants à adorer la première bête, dont la plaie mortelle avait été guérie. | 12 He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. He makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed. | 12 Und es übt alle Macht des ersten Tiers vor ihm ; und es macht, daß die Erde und die darauf wohnen, anbeten das erste Tier, dessen tödliche Wunde heil geworden war ; |
| 13 Elle opérait aussi de grands prodiges, jusqu’à faire descendre le feu du ciel sur la terre, à la vue des hommes, | 13 He performs great signs, even making fire come down out of the sky to the earth in the sight of people. | 13 und tut große Zeichen, daß es auch macht Feuer vom Himmel fallen vor den Menschen ; |
| 14 et elle séduisait les habitants de la terre par les prodiges qu’il lui était donné d’opérer en présence de la bête, persuadant aux habitants de la terre de dresser une image à la bête qui porte la blessure de l’épée et qui a repris vie. | 14 He deceives my own people who dwell on the earth because of the signs he was granted to do in front of the beast; saying to those who dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast who had the sword wound and lived. | 14 und verführt, die auf Erden wohnen, um der Zeichen willen, die ihm gegeben sind zu tun vor dem Tier ; und sagt denen, die auf Erden wohnen, daß sie ein Bild machen sollen dem Tier, das die Wunde vom Schwert hatte und lebendig geworden war. |
| 15 Et il lui fut donné d’animer l’image de la bête, de façon à la faire parler et à faire tuer tous ceux qui n’adoreraient pas l’image de la bête. | 15 It was given to him to give breath to it, to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause as many as wouldn't worship the image of the beast to be killed. | 15 Und es ward ihm gegeben, daß es dem Bilde des Tiers den Geist gab, daß des Tiers Bild redete und machte, daß alle, welche nicht des Tiers Bild anbeteten, getötet würden. |
| 16 Elle fit qu’à tous, petits et grands, riches et pauvres, libres et esclaves, on mit une marque sur la main droite ou sur le front, | 16 He causes all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, and the free and the slave, to be given marks on their right hands, or on their foreheads; | 16 Und es macht, daß die Kleinen und die Großen, die Reichen und die Armen, die Freien und die Knechte – allesamt sich ein Malzeichen geben an ihre rechte Hand oder an ihre Stirn, |
| 17 et que nul ne pût acheter ou vendre, s’il n’avait pas la marque du nom de la bête ou le nombre de son nom. | 17 and that no one would be able to buy or to sell, unless he has that mark, the name of the beast or the number of his name. | 17 daß niemand kaufen oder verkaufen kann, er habe denn das Malzeichen, nämlich den Namen des Tiers oder die Zahl seines Namens. |
| 18 C’est ici la sagesse ! Que celui qui a de l’intelligence compte le nombre de la bête ; car c’est un nombre d’homme et ce nombre est six cent soixante-six. | 18 Here is wisdom. He who has understanding, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is six hundred sixty-six. | 18 Hier ist Weisheit ! | 1 Je regardai encore et voici que l’Agneau se tenait sur la montagne de Sion, et avec lui cent quarante-quatre mille personnes, qui avaient son nom et le nom de son Père écrits sur le front. | 1 I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him a number, one hundred forty-four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads. | 1 Und ich sah das Lamm stehen auf dem Berg Zion und mit ihm hundertvierundvierzigtausend, die hatten seinen Namen und den Namen seines Vaters geschrieben an ihre Stirn. |
| 2 Et j’entendis un son qui venait du ciel, pareil au bruit de grandes eaux et à la voix d’un puissant tonnerre ; et le son que j’entendis ressemblait à un concert de harpistes jouant de leurs instruments. | 2 I heard a sound from heaven, like the sound of many waters, and like the sound of a great thunder. The sound which I heard was like that of harpists playing on their harps. | 2 Und ich hörte eine Stimme vom Himmel wie eines großen Wassers und wie eine Stimme eines großen Donners ; und die Stimme, die ich hörte, war wie von Harfenspielern, die auf ihren Harfen spielen. |
| 3 Et ils chantaient comme un cantique nouveau devant le trône, et devant les quatre animaux et les vieillards ; et nul ne pouvait apprendre ce cantique, si ce n’est les cent quarante-quatre mille qui ont été rachetés de la terre. | 3 They sing a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders. | 4 Ce sont ceux qui ne se sont pas souillés avec des femmes, car ils sont vierges. Ce sont eux qui accompagnent l’Agneau partout où il va. Ils ont été rachetés d’entre les hommes, comme des prémices pour Dieu et pour l’Agneau ; | 4 These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed by Jesus from among men, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb. | 4 Diese sind’s, die mit Weibern nicht befleckt sind – denn sie sind Jungfrauen – und folgen dem Lamme nach, wo es hingeht. Diese sind erkauft aus den Menschen zu Erstlingen Gott und dem Lamm ; |
| 5 et il ne s’est point trouvé de mensonge dans leur bouche, car ils sont irréprochables. | 5 In their mouth was found no lie, for they are blameless. | 5 und in ihrem Munde ist kein Falsch gefunden ; denn sie sind unsträflich vor dem Stuhl Gottes. |
| 6 Puis je vis un autre ange qui volait par le milieu du ciel, tenant l’Evangile éternel, pour l’annoncer aux habitants de la terre, à toute nation, à toute tribu, à toute langue et à tout peuple. | 6 I saw an angel flying in mid heaven, having an eternal Good News to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, tribe, language, and people. | 6 Und ich sah einen Engel fliegen mitten durch den Himmel, der hatte ein ewiges Evangelium zu verkündigen denen, die auf Erden wohnen, und allen Heiden und Geschlechtern und Sprachen und Völkern, |
| 7 Il disait d’une voix forte : " Craignez Dieu et donnez-lui gloire, car l’heure de son jugement est venue ; adorez Celui qui a fait le ciel et la terre, la mer et les sources des eaux. " | 7 He said with a loud voice, "Fear the Lord, and give him glory; for the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and the springs of waters!" | 7 und sprach mit großer Stimme : Fürchtet Gott und gebet ihm die Ehre ; denn die Zeit seines Gerichts ist gekommen ! Und betet an den, der gemacht hat Himmel und Erde und Meer und Wasserbrunnen. |
| 8 Et un autre ange suivit, en disant : " Elle est tombée, elle est tombée, Babylone la grande, qui a abreuvé toutes les nations du vin de la fureur de son impudicité ! " | 8 Another, a second angel, followed, saying, "Babylon the great has fallen, which has made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality." | 8 Und ein anderer Engel folgte nach, der sprach : Sie ist gefallen, sie ist gefallen, Babylon, die große Stadt ; denn sie hat mit dem Wein der Hurerei getränkt alle Heiden. |
| 9 Et un troisième ange les suivit, en disant d’une voix forte : " Si quelqu’un adore la bête et son image, et en prend la marque sur son front ou sur sa main, | 9 Another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead, or on his hand, | 9 Und der dritte Engel folgte diesem nach und sprach mit großer Stimme : So jemand das Tier anbetet und sein Bild und nimmt sein Malzeichen an seine Stirn oder an seine Hand, |
| 10 il boira, lui aussi, du vin de la fureur de Dieu, du vin pur versé dans la coupe de sa colère, et il sera tourmenté dans le feu et dans le soufre, sous les yeux des saints anges et de l’Agneau. | 10 he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger. He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb. | 10 der wird vom Wein des Zorns Gottes trinken, der lauter eingeschenkt ist in seines Zornes Kelch, und wird gequält werden mit Feuer und Schwefel vor den heiligen Engeln und vor dem Lamm ; |
| 11 Et la fumée de leur supplice s’élèvera aux siècles des siècles, et il n’y aura de repos, ni jour ni nuit, pour ceux qui adorent la bête et son image, ni pour quiconque aura reçu la marque de son nom. " | 11 The smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. They have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name. | 11 und der Rauch ihrer Qual wird aufsteigen von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit ; und sie haben keine Ruhe Tag und Nacht, die das Tier haben angebetet und sein Bild, und so jemand hat das Malzeichen seines Namens angenommen. |
| 12 C’est ici que doit se montrer la patience des saints, qui gardent les commandements de Dieu et la foi en Jésus. | 12 Here is the patience of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." | 12 Hier ist Geduld der Heiligen ; hier sind, die da halten die Gebote Gottes und den Glauben an Jesum. |
| 13 Et j’entendis une voix venant du ciel, qui disait : " Écris : Heureux dès maintenant les morts qui meurent dans le Seigneur ! " — " Oui, dit l’Esprit, qu’ils se reposent de leurs travaux, car leurs œuvres les suivent. " | 13 I heard the voice from heaven saying, "Write, 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.'" "Yes," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them." | 13 Und ich hörte eine Stimme vom Himmel zu mir sagen : Schreibe : Selig sind die Toten, die in dem Herrn sterben von nun an. | 14 Puis je regardai, et voici que parut une nuée blanche, et sur la nuée quelqu’un était assis qui ressemblait à un fils de l’homme ayant sur sa tête une couronne d’or, et dans sa main une faucille tranchante. | 14 I looked, and behold, a white cloud; and on the cloud one sitting like a son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. | 14 Und ich sah, und siehe, eine weiße Wolke. Und auf der Wolke saß einer, der gleich war eines Menschen Sohn ; der hatte eine goldene Krone auf seinem Haupt und in seiner Hand eine scharfe Sichel. |
| 15 Et un autre ange sortit du sanctuaire, criant d’une voix forte à celui qui était assis sur la nuée : " Lance ta faucille et moissonne ; car le moment de moissonner est venu, parce que la moisson de la terre est mûre. " | 15 Another angel came out from the temple, crying with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, "Send forth your sickle, and reap; for the hour to reap has come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe!" | 15 Und ein anderer Engel ging aus dem Tempel und schrie mit großer : Schlag an mit deiner Sichel Stimme zu dem, der auf der Wolke saß und ernte ; denn die Zeit zu ernten ist gekommen, denn die Ernte der Erde ist dürr geworden ! |

| 11 et ils blasphémèrent le Dieu du ciel à cause de leurs douleurs et de leurs ulcères, et ils ne se repentirent point de leurs œuvres. | 11 and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores. | 12 Puis le sixième répandit sa coupe sur le grand fleuve de l’Euphrate, et les eaux en furent desséchées, afin de livrer passage aux rois venant de l’Orient. | 12 The sixth poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates. Its water was dried up, that the way might be made ready for the kings that come from the sunrise. | 12 Und der sechste Engel goß aus seine Schale auf den großen Wasserstrom Euphrat ; und das Wasser vertrocknete, auf daß bereitet würde der Weg den Königen vom Aufgang der Sonne. |

" | 2 with whom the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality, and those who dwell in the earth were made drunken with the wine of her sexual immorality." | 2 mit welcher gehurt haben die Könige auf Erden ; und die da wohnen auf Erden, sind trunken geworden von dem Wein ihrer Hurerei. |

Et les habitants de la terre, dont le nom n’est pas écrit dès la fondation du monde dans le livre de la vie, seront étonnés en voyant la bête, parce qu’elle était, qu’elle n’est plus, et qu’elle reparaîtra. | 8 The beast that you saw was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss and to go into destruction. Five have fallen, the one is, the other has not yet come. Elle est devenue une habitation de démons, un séjour de tout esprit impur, un repaire de tout oiseau immonde et odieux, | 2 He cried with a mighty voice, saying, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, and she has become a habitation of demons, a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird! | 2 Und er schrie aus Macht mit großer Stimme und sprach : Sie ist gefallen, sie ist gefallen, Babylon, die große, und eine Behausung der Teufel geworden und ein Behältnis aller unreinen Geister und ein Behältnis aller unreinen und verhaßten Vögel. |

| 4 Et j’entendis du ciel une autre voix qui disait : " Sortez du milieu d’elle, ô mon peuple, afin de ne point participer à ses péchés, et de n’avoir point part à ses calamités ; | 4 I heard another voice from heaven, saying, "Come out of her, my people, that you have no participation in her sins, and that you don't receive of her plagues, | 4 Und ich hörte eine andere Stimme vom Himmel, die sprach : Gehet aus von ihr, mein Volk, daß ihr nicht teilhaftig werdet ihrer Sünden, auf daß ihr nicht empfanget etwas von ihren Plagen ! |
| 5 car ses péchés se sont accumulés jusqu’au ciel, et Dieu s’est souvenu de ses iniquités. | 5 for her sins have reached to the sky, and God has remembered her iniquities. | 5 Denn ihre Sünden reichen bis in den Himmel, und Gott denkt an ihren Frevel. |

| 2 parce que ses jugements sont vrais et justes. Il a jugé la grande prostituée qui corrompait la terre par son impudicité, il a vengé le sang de ses serviteurs répandu par ses mains. " | 2 for true and righteous are his judgments. | 8 et il lui a été donné de se vêtir de lin fin, éclatant et pur. " — Ce fin lin, ce sont les vertus des saints. | 8 It was given to her that she would array herself in bright, pure, fine linen: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. | 8 Und es ward ihr gegeben, sich anzutun mit reiner und schöner Leinwand. (Die köstliche Leinwand aber ist die Gerechtigkeit der Heiligen.) |
| 9 Et l’ange me dit : " Écris : Heureux ceux qui sont invités au festin des noces de l’Agneau ! " Et il ajouta : " Ces paroles sont les véritables paroles de Dieu. " | 9 He said to me, "Write, 'Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.'" | 10 Je tombai alors à ses pieds pour l’adorer ; mais il me dit : " Garde-toi de le faire ! Je suis ton compagnon de service, et celui de tes frères qui gardent le témoignage de Jésus. Adore Dieu. " — Car le témoignage de Jésus est l’esprit de la prophétie. | 10 I fell down before his feet to worship him. He said to me, "Look! Don't do it! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers who hold the testimony of Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy." | 10 Und ich fiel vor ihn zu seinen Füßen, ihn anzubeten. Und er sprach zu mir : Siehe zu, tu es nicht ! He has names written and a name written which no one knows but he himself. | 12 Seine Augen sind wie eine Feuerflamme, und auf seinem Haupt viele Kronen ; und er hatte einen Namen geschrieben, den niemand wußte denn er selbst. |
| 13 il était revêtu d’un vêtement teint de sang : son nom est le Verbe de Dieu. | 13 He is clothed in a garment sprinkled with blood. His name is called "The Word of God." | 13 Und war angetan mit einem Kleide, das mit Blut besprengt war ; und sein Name heißt »das Wort Gottes«. |
| 14 Les armées du ciel le suivaient sur des chevaux blancs, vêtues de fin lin, blanc et pur. | 14 The armies which are in heaven followed him on white horses, clothed in white, pure, fine linen. | 14 Und ihm folgte nach das Heer im Himmel auf weißen Pferden, angetan mit weißer und reiner Leinwand. |
| 15 De sa bouche sortait un glaive affilé [à deux tranchants], pour en frapper les nations ; c’est lui qui les gouvernera avec un sceptre de fer, et c’est lui qui foulera la cuve du vin de l’ardente colère du Dieu tout-puissant. | 15 Out of his mouth proceeds a sharp, double-edged sword, that with it he should strike the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He treads the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty. | 15 Und aus seinem Munde ging ein scharfes Schwert, daß er damit die Heiden schlüge ; und er wird sie regieren mit eisernem Stabe ; und er tritt die Kelter des Weins des grimmigen Zorns Gottes, des Allmächtigen. |

| 18 pour manger la chair des rois, la chair des chefs militaires, la chair des soldats vaillants, la chair des chevaux et de ceux qui les montent, la chair de tous les hommes, libres et esclaves, petits et grands. Tous les deux furent jetés vivants dans l’étang de feu où brûle le soufre ; | 20 The beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who worked the signs in his sight, with which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. | 3 Et il le jeta dans l’abîme, qu’il ferma à clef et scella sur lui, afin qu’il ne séduisit plus les nations, jusqu’à ce que les mille ans fussent écoulés. Après cela, il doit être délié pour un peu de temps. | 3 and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years were finished. | 4 Puis je vis, des trônes, où s’assirent des personnes à qui le pouvoir de juger fut donné, et je vis les âmes de ceux qui avaient été décapités à cause du témoignage de Jésus et à cause de la parole de Dieu, et ceux qui n’avaient point adoré la bête ni son image, et qui n’avaient pas reçu sa marque sur leur front et sur leur main. Ils eurent la vie, et régnèrent avec le Christ pendant [les] mille ans. | 4 I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as didn't worship the beast nor his image, and didn't receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand. | 8 Mais pour les lâches, les incrédules, les abominables, les meurtriers, les impudiques, les magiciens, les idolâtres et tous les menteurs, leur part est dans l’étang ardent de feu et de soufre : c’est la seconde mort. " | 8 But for the cowardly, unbelieving, sinners, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral,sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death." | 8 Der Verzagten aber und Ungläubigen und Greulichen und Totschläger und Hurer und Zauberer und Abgöttischen und aller Lügner, deren Teil wird sein in dem Pfuhl, der mit Feuer und Schwefel brennt ; das ist der andere Tod. |

Il mesura la ville avec son roseau, jusqu’à douze mille stades ; la longueur, la largeur et la hauteur en sont égales. | 16 The city lies foursquare, and its length is as great as its breadth. | 23 La ville n’a besoin ni du soleil ni de la lune pour l’éclairer, car la gloire de Dieu l’illumine, et l’Agneau est son flambeau. | 23 The city has no need for the sun, neither of the moon, to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb. | 23 Und die Stadt bedarf keiner Sonne noch des Mondes, daß sie scheinen ; denn die Herrlichkeit Gottes erleuchtet sie, und ihre Leuchte ist das Lamm. |
| 24 Les nations marcheront à sa lumière, et les rois de la terre y apporteront leur magnificence. | 24 The nations will walk in its light. The kings of the earth bring the glory and honor of the nations into it. | 24 Und die Heiden, die da selig werden, wandeln in ihrem Licht ; und die Könige auf Erden werden ihre Herrlichkeit in sie bringen. |
| 25 Ses portes ne seront point fermées chaque jour, car il n’y aura point de nuit. | 25 Its gates will in no way be shut by day (for there will be no night there), | 25 Und ihre Tore werden nicht verschlossen des Tages ; denn da wird keine Nacht sein. |
| 26 On y apportera ce que les nations ont de plus magnifique et de plus précieux ; | 26 and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it so that they may enter. | 26 Und man wird die Herrlichkeit und die Ehre der Heiden in sie bringen. |
| 27 et il n’y entrera rien de souillé, aucun artisan d’abomination et de mensonge, mais ceux-là seulement qui sont inscrits dans le livre de vie de l’Agneau. | 27 There will in no way enter into it anything profane, or one who causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life. | 27 Und es wird nicht hineingehen irgend ein Gemeines und das da Greuel tut und Lüge, sondern die geschrieben sind in dem Lebensbuch des Lammes. |

| 1 Puis il me montra un fleuve d’eau de la vie, clair comme du cristal, jaillissant du trône de Dieu et de l’Agneau, | 1 He showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb, | 1 Und er zeigte mir einen lautern Strom des lebendigen Wassers, klar wie ein Kristall ; der ging aus von dem Stuhl Gottes und des Lammes. |
| 2 au milieu de la rue de la ville ; et de part et d’autre du fleuve, des arbres de vie qui donnent douze fois leurs fruits, les rendant une fois par mois, et dont les feuilles servent à la guérison des nations. | 2 in the middle of its street. On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. | 2 Mitten auf ihrer Gasse auf beiden Seiten des Stroms stand Holz des Lebens, das trug zwölfmal Früchte und brachte seine Früchte alle Monate ; und die Blätter des Holzes dienten zu der Gesundheit der Heiden. |

| 5 Il n’y aura plus de nuit, et ils n’auront besoin ni de la lumière de la lampe, ni de la lumière du soleil, parce que le Seigneur Dieu les illuminera ; et ils régneront aux siècles des siècles. | 5 There will be no night, and they need no lamp light; for the Lord God will illuminate them. When I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who had shown me these things. | 8 Und ich bin Johannes, der solches gehört hat. " | 9 He said to me, "See you don't do it! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers, the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. | 11 Que celui qui est injuste fasse encore le mal ; que l’impur se souille encore ; que le juste pratique encore la justice, et que le saint se sanctifie encore. | 11 He who acts unjustly, let him act unjustly still. He who is filthy, let him be filthy still. He who is righteous, let him do righteousness still. | 17 Et l’Esprit et l’Épouse disent : " Venez ! " Que celui qui entend dise aussi : " Venez ! Que celui qui a soif, vienne ! Que celui qui le désire, prenne de l’eau de la vie gratuitement ! " | 17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" He who hears, let him say, "Come!" He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely. | 17 Und der Geist und die Braut sprechen : Komm ! Und wer es hört, : Komm !
