| 8:2 He said, “Amos, what do you see?” I said, “A basket of summer fruit.” Then Yahweh said to me, “The end has come on my people Israel. I will not again pass by them any more. | 2 And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. | 8:3 The songs of the temple will be wailings in that day,” says the Lord Yahweh. “The dead bodies will be many. | 9:7 Are you not like the children of the Ethiopians to me, children of Israel?” says Yahweh. “Haven’t I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt, and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir? | 7 Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the LORD.
