| 5:8 The remnant of Jacob will be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the animals of the forest,like a young lion among the flocks of sheep; who, if he goes through, treads down and tears in pieces,and there is no one to deliver. | 7 And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver. | 8 またヤコブの残れる者が国々の中におり、多くの民の中にいること、林の獣の中のししのごとく、羊の群れの中の若いししのようである。それが過ぎるときは踏み、かつ裂いて救う者はない。 |

| 6:6 How shall I come before Yahweh, and bow myself before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? | 6 Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old? | 6 「わたしは何をもって主のみ前に行き、高き神を拝すべきか。燔祭および当歳の子牛をもってそのみ前に行くべきか。 |
| 6:7 Will Yahweh be pleased with thousands of rams? With tens of thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my disobedience? | 6:8 He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly,to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? | 8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? | 8 人よ、彼はさきによい事のなんであるかをあなたに告げられた。主のあなたに求められることは、ただ公義をおこない、いつくしみを愛し、へりくだってあなたの神と共に歩むことではないか。 |

| 6:11 Shall I be pure with dishonest scales, and with a bag of deceitful weights? | 11 Shall I count them pure with the wicked balances, and with the bag of deceitful weights? | 11 不正なはかりを用い、偽りのおもしを入れた袋を用いる人をわたしは罪なしとするだろうか。 |
| 6:12 Her rich men are full of violence, her inhabitants speak lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their speech. | 12 For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth. | 12 あなたのうちの富める人は暴虐で満ち、あなたの住民は偽りを言い、その舌は口で欺くことをなす。 |
